Terms of service

These terms cover the use of EduFL, a school management service made by Modrage Tech ("we", "us"). A school that signs up for EduFL ("the school") accepts these terms. People who sign in to EduFL through their school are covered by the school's acceptance and by their school's rules.

The service

EduFL provides modules such as attendance, exams, fees, messaging and lesson tools, and can include a school website, a web app and mobile apps under the school's name. Which modules and apps a school receives is set out in its agreement with us. We can add, change or retire features, and we will give notice of changes that affect how a school works.

The school's responsibilities

• Give us accurate information, and keep its administrators' sign-in details private.
• Decide who in the school gets which role, and remove access for people who leave.
• Make sure it has the right to put student and staff information into EduFL, and that parents have been told as the school's own rules require.
• Use EduFL lawfully, and not to harass anyone, upload harmful files, or try to reach another school's data.

Accounts and domains

The school owns its domain names and its app store accounts. We set them up and maintain them on the school's behalf while the agreement is in place. When the agreement ends, we will hand over what belongs to the school.

The school's data

The school owns the data it enters. We handle it as described in our privacy policy. The school can ask for an export of its data at any time during the agreement and when it ends.

Fees and payment

Fees, billing periods and what is included are set out in the school's agreement with us. If a school does not pay, we may suspend the service after giving notice. We will not delete the school's data without notice.

Availability and support

We work to keep EduFL running and to fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may take the service offline for maintenance, and will try to do it at times that suit schools.

Ending the agreement

Either side can end the agreement as it sets out. When it ends, we will make the school's data available for export, then delete it as described in the privacy policy.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by the school's own actions, such as sharing a password or entering wrong records. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees the school paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
